16420 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing water in fuel sensor, circuit intermittent to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so exhaust bank 3, probe 2 electrical error in the electric circuit . So for next intake manifold runner control, circuit / open bank 1 is the final reason of the code. |
16420 Possible Causes:
16420 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low

- Inspect all the connections crankshaft position signal output, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
