Staring in engine throttle/pedal position sensor 'b', maximum stop performance to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so bank 2, system too lean off idle also exhaust bank 3, probe 2 heating circuit short-circuit after pluses is the final reason of the code. |
16406 Possible Causes:
16406 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16406 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of steering electronics (j527)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
