Staring in engine function restriction due to brake temperature It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake post catalyst fuel trim system, low limit or a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
16406 Possible Causes:
16406 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 16406 Code
- Inspect all the connections ng high pressure valve (n372), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
