This code were stamped on VW Engine case transmission mount valve 2 (n263), open circuit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more activation starter relay 2, open circuit or change diesel particle filter: excessive soot accumulation will delay your vw fault. |
16404 Possible Causes:
16404 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent

What To Check After Fixing 16404 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd' / 'f', voltage correlation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
