16402 Possible Causes:
16402 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16402 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector cylinder 13 (n390), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
