This something to do with the intake camshaft timing valve for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short-circuit after pluses causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit low also ignition coil 'g' primary control, short to plus is the final reason of the code. |
16396 Possible Causes:
16396 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 16396 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
