This code were stamped on VW Engine case reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 1, circuit high it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust bank 3 sensor 1, inner resistance implausible also transmission control unit relay, malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
16389 Possible Causes:
16389 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections malfunction indication light (k83), open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
