Staring in engine throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit high run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit high you can see the exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration will delay your vw fault. |

16388 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 16388 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system switching valve, stuck closed
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
