Accumulated in electronic control units so shift up/down wire, open / short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor injector cylinder 15 (n392), open circuit you can see the o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
16387 Possible Causes:
16387 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16387 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator position sensor 2 (g185), signal too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
