Diameter in engine oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, heater return coupling mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to b+ and pressure control solenoid 5 (n233) open / short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
16386 Possible Causes:
16386 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 16386 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injector group 'd' supply voltage, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
