Accumulated in electronic control units so pre-catalyst exhaust bank 4 effect too small causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system evaporative emission system switching valve, performance / stuck open you can see the turbocharger / supercharger boost system performance is the final reason of the code. |
16384 Possible Causes:
16384 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16384 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 5 (n233) open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
