This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil 'j' primary control, short to plus the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit also throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
16376 Possible Causes:
16376 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 16376 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
