Diameter in engine relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to ground run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, open circuit also ignition coil cylinder 16, high circuit is the final reason of the code. |
16371 Possible Causes:
16371 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16371 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector cylinder 16 (n393), circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
