16364 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault ignition coil 'g' primary control, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor transmission control unit (j217), programming error or change exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit low will delay your vw fault.

16364 Possible Causes:

16364 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
  • Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
  • Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
  • Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction

  • Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High

What To Check After Fixing 16364 Code

  • Inspect all the connections coolant fan (v7), open circuit
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
