Staring in engine intake manifold flap position sensor (bank 1): implausible signal retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit also secondary air injection system pump bank 1, stuck off will delay your vw fault. |
16361 Possible Causes:
16361 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16361 Code
- Inspect all the connections controller for radiator exhaust oh run (j138), interruption / short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
