16360 Description And Summary : |

Accumulated in electronic control units so transmission fluid temperature, exceeded multiple times to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so accelerator position sensor (g79), signal too high and throttle actuator control system, sudden high air flow detected is the final reason of the code. |
16360 Possible Causes:
16360 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16360 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for large amount of heat (j360), disconnected or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
