This something to do with the intake camshaft timing post catalyst fuel trim system, high limit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit high bank 2 or a camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
16336 Possible Causes:
16336 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 16336 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator position sensor (g79), signal too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
