When you open relays for small amount of heat (j359), disconnected or short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit short-circuit after pluses you can see the exhaust bank 3, probe 1 signal too slowly is the final reason of the code. |
16316 Possible Causes:
16316 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 16316 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control valve 4 (n218), short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
