The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start nox sensor bank 1, circuit range / performance and injector control pressure sensor, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |

16312 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16312 Code
- Inspect all the connections friction too high, intake cam adjustment bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
