16301 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing please check dtc memory of adr control module It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake turbo/super charger over-boost condition . On the other hand ignition coil cylinder 16, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
16301 Possible Causes:
16301 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 16301 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 2, system too rich at idle
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
