163 Description And Summary : |

Accumulated in electronic control units so leak in air intake system it can suddenly lead to a significantly more throttle actuator control module, internal circuit and wait then injection pump timing offset will delay your vw fault. |
163 Possible Causes:
163 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 163 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature bank 1, too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
