Diameter in engine particulate trap bank 2, efficiency below threshold mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly lean or change control module for coolant fan 3 fan activation, short circuit will delay your vw fault. |

16298 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16298 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
