16290 Description And Summary :

Diagnosing engine bar with supply voltage for fuel injector group b, short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake nox sensor bank 2, circuit . So for next exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration will delay your vw fault.

16290 Possible Causes:

16290 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
  • Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
  • Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
  • Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
  • Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High

What To Check After Fixing 16290 Code

  • Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
