The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault 'b' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor 'a' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on or change 'a' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off is the final reason of the code. |
16288 Possible Causes:
16288 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 16288 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator position sensor 1/2 (g79) / (g185), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
