Diagnosing engine bar with o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 1 sensor 1, circuit / open retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start injector control pressure sensor, circuit intermittent and mil call-up circuit / transmission control module, range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
16286 Possible Causes:
16286 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 16286 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
