The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault ignition coil 'd' primary control, short to plus causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 1, biased / stuck rich or change linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
16280 Possible Causes:
16280 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16280 Code
- Inspect all the connections ng high pressure valve (n372), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
