Diagnosing engine bar with nox sensor heater control bank 1, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit also fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit intermittent / erratic is the final reason of the code. |
16268 Possible Causes:
16268 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 16268 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug/heater relay 2 circuit, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
