16268 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault bank 1, system too rich at idle retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start activation starter relay 2, open circuit you can see the relays for pump, fuel cooling (j445), short-circuit after pluses is the final reason of the code. |
16268 Possible Causes:
16268 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16268 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c refrigerant distribution valve control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
