This something to do with the intake camshaft timing 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more rough road / acceleration sensor, electrical malfunction also outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
16267 Possible Causes:
16267 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 16267 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor 'e', maximum stop performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
