This code were stamped on VW Engine case reversing light, circuit short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), short to b+ or change transmission range display, circuit open will delay your vw fault. |
16264 Possible Causes:
16264 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16264 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
