The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust bank 3/4 lambda probes after kat exchanges It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to ground or change intake air temperature sensor 1/2 correlation is the final reason of the code. |
16263 Possible Causes:
16263 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 16263 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, signal too slowly
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
