16262 Possible Causes:
16262 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16262 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, implausible message from combi instrument
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
