This code were stamped on VW Engine case exhaust pressure sensor the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust gas recirculation system performance and relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
16260 Possible Causes:
16260 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 16260 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for intake manifold flap (n239), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
