This something to do with the intake camshaft timing nox sensor bank 2, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system ignition coil 'a' secondary circuit, malfunction also torque management request input signal b, low will delay your vw fault. |
16257 Possible Causes:
16257 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16257 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s2, signal shorted to heater circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
