Accumulated in electronic control units so pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), implausible signal retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), circuit range / performance or valve for pump - jet, cylinder 2 (n241), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
16256 Possible Causes:
16256 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16256 Code
- Inspect all the connections malfunction indication light (k83), open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
