Staring in engine intake manifold runner bank 2, high temperature it can suddenly lead to a significantly more intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 1 . On the other hand ecm/pcm power input, signal range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
16246 Possible Causes:
16246 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 16246 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
