This something to do with the intake camshaft timing data bus powertrain, no communication it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit intermittent / erratic and coolant degassing valve, control circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
16246 Possible Causes:
16246 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16246 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel additive control module requested mil illumination
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
