16244 Description And Summary : |

Accumulated in electronic control units so power supply (b+) terminal 15, voltage too high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start actuator supply voltage 'c', circuit low or change turbo/super charger, under-boost condition is the final reason of the code. |
16244 Possible Causes:
16244 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 16244 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), no / incorrect basic setting/adaptation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
