This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle actuator control system, forced idle It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake intake manifold runner bank 2, high temperature and valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
16241 Possible Causes:
16241 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16241 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel additive control module warning lamp request
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
