Staring in engine ignition coil 'c' primary control, circuit low It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake rough road / acceleration sensor, electrical malfunction and wait then o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean will delay your vw fault. |
16240 Possible Causes:
16240 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16240 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, heater circuit achievement too small
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
