When you open air cleaner inlet control, circuit high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles secondary air injection system control 'b', circuit high or change valve for intake manifold flap (n239), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
16238 Possible Causes:
16238 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16238 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 9 (n305), circuit low input
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
