The problem is about valve for coolant system circuit, low / intermittent mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor coolant fan control 1: open or short to ground or valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
16237 Possible Causes:
16237 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low

What To Check After Fixing 16237 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
