The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 4, out of range mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor cylinder 9 injector, data incompatible also secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
16232 Possible Causes:
16232 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 16232 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant fan control 2: open or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
