When you open engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit high it can suddenly lead to a significantly more evaporative emission system switching valve control, circuit / open and wait then throttle/pedal position sensor 'e', minimum stop performance will delay your vw fault. |
16231 Possible Causes:
16231 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 16231 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold flap position sensor (bank 1): implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
