The problem is about exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at lower limit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, tension too small and exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, no activity is the final reason of the code. |
16230 Possible Causes:
16230 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 16230 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), no / incorrect basic setting/adaptation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
