This something to do with the intake camshaft timing function restriction due to brake temperature It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake evaporative emission system switching valve, performance / stuck open or change ignition coil 'l' primary control, short to plus will delay your vw fault. |

16226 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
