16224 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine a/c control module requested, mil illumination mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor intake air heater "a", circuit range / performance or secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
16224 Possible Causes:
16224 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16224 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injection valve 4 (n369), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
