The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1), stuck open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, short to ground and wait then data-bus powertrain, implausible message from engine controller will delay your vw fault. |
16224 Possible Causes:
16224 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault

- Inspect all the connections diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
