16223 Description And Summary : |

Accumulated in electronic control units so transmission coolant circuit relay, intermittent mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor relays for small amount of heat (j359), disconnected or short to ground . So for next oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, heater return coupling is the final reason of the code. |
16223 Possible Causes:
16223 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 16223 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic bank
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
