Diameter in engine fuel pump circuit, electrical malfunction mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit intermittent / erratic or change control module defective is the final reason of the code. |
16221 Possible Causes:
16221 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 16221 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for small amount of heat (j359), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
