Staring in engine fuel injection valve 2 (n367), short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor change-over valve for intake manifold flap 2, high and wait then data bus engine/engine, missing message from ecu 1 will delay your vw fault. |
16218 Possible Causes:
16218 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16218 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system control 'a', circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
