16213 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing air leak between throttle body and intake valves mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor control module 2 for cooling fan, faulty and evaporative emission system switching valve, performance / stuck open is the final reason of the code. |
16213 Possible Causes:
16213 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16213 Code
- Inspect all the connections malfunction indication light (k83), open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
