This something to do with the intake camshaft timing direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor circuit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), short to ground . So for next 'a' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off will delay your vw fault. |
16211 Possible Causes:
16211 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault

What To Check After Fixing 16211 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
