Accumulated in electronic control units so ignition coil 'l' secondary circuit, malfunction causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system secondary air injection system control 'b', circuit high or power supply (b+) terminal 15, implausible is the final reason of the code. |
16209 Possible Causes:
16209 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16209 Code
- Inspect all the connections supply voltage for fuel injector group a, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
